Day 1: Arrive Hanoi  

Arrival at Hanoi / Noi Bai international airport and transfer to hotel. The rest of the days free at leisure. Overnight at your selected hotel in Hanoi .

Day 2: Hanoi - Bat Trang - Hai Phong - Halong Bay (B/L)
 

Pick up at the hotel. Drive to Bat Trang, the famous pottery village approximate 15km from Hanoi , which is surrounded by fertile farmland. Watch the artisans form, paint and glaze their products, which are then backed for several days in huge kilns. Proceed to Hai Phong, the largest port in North Vietnam , 102km east of Hanoi . Short orientation tour: Du Hang pagoda and Hang Kenh Communal house, both with fine examples of traditional woodcarvings. After lunch at a local restaurant continue to Halong Bay . Transfer to hotel. Overnight at your selected hotel in Halong city.

 Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)
 

Discover Halong bay, listed as a World Heritage site. "Dragon descending to the sea" as it is know in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,000 islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Enjoy a relaxing 5-hour boat trip through Halong bay, fresh seafood lunch is prepared and served on board. Afternoon, drive back to Hanoi for overnight.

Day 4: Hanoi city tour (B/L)
 

Full day city tour: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (close on Monday, Friday and the entire months of October and November), Ho Chi Minh's Residence, One-Pillar pagoda, Temple of Literature built in the 11th century as Vietnam's first university. Afternoon visit Museum of Ethnology , Hoan Kiem lake with Ngoc Son temple and Old Quarters. Evening: Water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art.

Day 5: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National park - Ninh Binh (B/L/D) 

Drive to Cuc Phuong national park 4-hour easy trekking to discover the rich flora of the park. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Drive to Ninh Binh and transfer to hotel for check in. Dinner and overnight at your selected hotel in Ninh Binh

Day 6: Ninh Binh - Tam Coc - Hoa Lu - Phat Diem - Ninh Binh (B/L)
 

Drive to Hoa Lu, often called " Dry Halong Bay ". Limestone rocks rise from rice fields and winding streams. Enjoy the spectacular scenery during a leisurely boat ride in traditional local sampans to Tam Coc caves. Lunch at local restaurant.

Visit Bich Dong pagoda and temple of the Dinh and Le Dynasties. Proceed to Phat Diem for visiting the stone church, a striking architectural complex in the style of a Vietnamese pagoda. Return to Ninh Binh for accommodation at simple hotel.

Day 7: Ninh Binh - Dong Hoi (B/L)
Full day drive to Dong Hoi through charming rural scenery, where offers a glimpse into the life in the southern Red River Delta. Lunch en route. Arrive in Dong Hoi, transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 8: Dong Hoi - Phong Nha cave - Vinh Moc tunnels - Hue (B/L)
 

Drive to beautiful Phong Nha caves accessible by boat on the clear water of the Son River . Lunch en route. Proceed south to visit Vinh Moc tunnels, dug to accommodate an underground village safe from American air raids in the north of the DMZ. Continue driving through the sites of the fierce battle fields of Vinh Linh, Doc Mieu and Dong Ha before arriving in Hue , the former Royal city of the 13 ruling Nguyen dynasties. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 9: Hue city tour (B/L)
 

Boat ride on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and Minh Mang tomb. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Imperial Citadel with its Forbidden city and Tu Duc tomb and local market. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 10: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L) 

Depart by coach to Da Nang . The scenic 4-hour drive via Hai Van pass offers spectacular views of mountains, sea, idyllic beaches and villages. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Cham museum then continue to the Marble Mountains with its beautiful grottoes and temples, which can be reached by climbing steep steps (please wear appropriate shoes). We continue further south to the charming historic city of Hoi An, transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 11: Hoi An - My Son - HoiAn (B/L)
 

Drive to My Son, the imperial city of the Champa empire of the 4th to 12th centuries, My Son Sanctuary is a large complex of religious ruins comprising more than 70 architectural remains. Return to Hoi An, known to early Western merchant, Hoi An was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Hoi An has a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled-roof houses and narrow street; the original structure of some of these streets is still virtually intact. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs. During a leisurely discovery tour on foot you will visit some of the historic merchant and community houses, places of worship and famous bridges. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang (B/L)
 

Drive to Da Nang and transfer to the airport for a short flight to Nha Trang. Visit the Institute of Oceanography and Po Nagar Cham tower, a sacred Hindu site dating back to the 2nd century AD. The town was built between the 7th and 12th centuries and is still used today as a place of pilgrimage for the Cham and Vietnamese Buddhists. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Nha Trang.

Day 13: Nha Trang (B)
 

Full day at leisure. Ovcernight at hotel.

Day 14: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh city (B/L) 

Leisure time until transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city . Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and lunch. City tour: War museum, the Post office and Notre Dame Cathedral, former Presidential Palace, (from out side for picture only), China Town with Thien Hau pagoda and local market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City - Tay Ninh / Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)
 

Drive to Cu Chi and visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels. There are more than 200km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. Proceed to Tay Ninh, center of the Cao Dai religion founded in 1926, a combination of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. You will have the opportunity to watch the worshippers in their white long tunics during noon mass. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City . Overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Ho Chi Minh city - My Tho - Can Tho (B/L)
 

Coach trip to My Tho and visit Vinh Trang pagoda. My Tho is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong river and visit an orchard on an island. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Can Tho and transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 17: Can Tho - Soc Trang - can Tho - Chau Doc (B/L)
 

Boat trip on the Mekong river to visit Cai Rang floating market, you also have opportunity to watch local villagers producing rice paper, pop-rice, and rice husking. Continue by car to Soc Trang to visit Bat Pagoda, Clay pagoda and Khmer museum. Lunch en route. Drive back to Can Tho. In the afternoon, drive to Chau Doc, with an en route visit by boat to the Bang Lang stork sanctuary in Thot Not. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 18: Chau Doc - Sa Dec - Ho Chi Minh city (B/L)
 

Visit Sam Mountain, Lady Xu temple, Thoai Ngoc Hau temple, Tay An pagoda and boat trip to the Islamic Champa village. Lunch en route. Depart Chau Doc to Sa Dec, visit the flower village. Return Ho Chi Minh city and transfer to hotels. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 19: Ho Chi Minh city - Departure (B)
 

Breakfast at hotel and at leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL - HANOI

we are met and transferred to hotel. Ha Noi , Vietnam's capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia's most striking colonial architecture. The many lakes and parks make for relaxing atmosphere. If time permits we embark on a cyclo for a short excursion through the bustling old quarter streets named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. O/N in Ha Noi.(B)

 

 DAY 2: HANOI

Today we enjoy a full day city tour starting  with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature well known as Vietnam's first university and the History Museum, which displays an excellent collection of artifacts illustrating the Vietnamese history. Our next stop is the impressive Ethnologic Museum, dedicated to Vietnam's 54 hill tribe groups, some of which we will see on our forthcoming days. We also visit the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred temple and the vibrant Dong Xuan Market before attending a performance of Hanoi's famous water puppets. O/N in Hanoi. (B)

 

DAY 3: HANOI - SONLA

The journey northwards begins as we depart Hanoi and pass through the undulating terrains of tea plantations and the many timeless villages linked to the road which is the main artery of trade between the northwestern region and the capital city. This is our first glimpse of rural Vietnam and sets the tone for the days ahead. Depending on road and traffic conditions our drive will deliver us in Son La by  mid or late afternoon. After checking into hotel we take a walk around this mountain town. There is a little traffic on roads and many Black Thai in traditional costume scurry in all directions. O/N in Son La. (B)

 

DAY 4: SONLA - DIEN BIEN PHU

The provincial museum and the nearby old prison are some of this hill town's major sights. We have a chance to visit these before we leave for our next destination. The winding roads cross over the Pha Din Pass before reaching Dien Bien Phu, the site of the decisive battle in Vietnam's struggle for independence in 1954. After checking into our central located hotel we  enjoy a walk around to see this fast growing town. Our  main stop  is Dien Bien Phu's Museum which details the event in place. We also pay a visit to the old battle field where the lush vegetation grows behind many war relics including old French tanks and artillery pieces. O/N in Dien Bien Phu .(B)

 

DAY 5: DIEN BIEN PHU - TAM DUONG

Heading out of the town, we spend a full day travelling into Vietnam's most mountainous region. The roads are difficult at times, but the spectacular landscape with a mixture of terraced fields and hill villages makes the hardship all worthwhile. On the way, we have some opportunities to encounter the Red Hmong, Kho Mu, Mang, Dao people who   still retain their age old cultural traditions and are recognisably distinct from each other by their dress. We arrive  in Tam Duong by late afternoon and have time strolling around to catch our first glimpse; a small town surrounded by breathtaking mountains and tea plantations. O/N in Tam Duong. (B)

 

DAY 6: TAM DUONG - SAPA

The scenery of the north is unequalled although the conditions are very simple. After breakfast we set off on a half day drive following the mountain roads to Sa Pa, our final destination. At an elevation of 1,500 meters, Sapa was founded in the early years of the last century as a hill resort for French administrators when the heat on the plain became unbearable. We arrive in Sapa by mid afternoon and can soak up the fresh climate as much as we want by spending our time wandering this famous hill town. The ethnic people are frequently seen on the main street of Sapa and small vendors along the street sell local textiles and handicraft. O/N in Sa Pa. (B)

 

DAY 7: SAPA

The range of Phan Si Pan boasts Vietnam's highest mountain and lends an alpine feel to the area surrounding this hill station. Today we have enough time to visit the bustling Sa Pa Market where the Red Dao, Black Hmong, Tay and Xa Pho ethnic minorities converge from the nearby mountainsides and valleys to trade their goods and buy provisions. We then get well off the beaten track as we embark on a walk to explore this beautiful mountain region. Along the way we traverse several rustic villages and see many mountaineers doing their daily works such as logging, herding buffalo and tilling the field. The blend of verdant mountain backdrop and colourful population makes for an unimaginable view. O/N in Sa Pa. (B)

 

DAY 8: SAPA - MUONG KHUONG - BAC HA ( Sunday)

After breakfast we continue venturing into northern Vietnam, travelling through the Chinese border town of Lao Cai to the colourful Sunday Market at Muong Khuong. This market also attracts a wide variety of ethnic minority groups including the Variegated Hmong, Dao, Phu La, La Chi, Tay who   still retain their age old cultural traditions and are recognisably distinct from each other by their dress. The experience of this congregation is unique. Upon leaving Muong Khuong, we drive to Bac Ha. As option , we can embark a walk this afternoon, visiting the Hmong King's former residence and Ban Pho where the villagers make the potent local maize wine . O/N in Bac Ha. (B)

 

DAY 9: BAC HA - HANOI

The return journey begins as we depart Bac Ha Town and pass through the verdant and rugged mountain scenery to Hanoi. These back roads are a great way to explore the real Vietnam. We see very few other travellers, mostly rural dwellers who are just as interested in finding out about our lives as we are of theirs. The drive is very long , but we can can make many stops along the way to stretch our legs and take some wonderful  photographs. O/N in Ha Noi. (B)

 

DAY 10: HANOI - HALONG

Upon leaving the town we set off on a scenic overland trip to Ha Long Bay. As pleasure we make stop in Hai Phong, the biggest port town of northern Vietnam. There are plenty to see in this bustling town, some of which are  the Hang Kenh Communal House, the Du Hang Pagoda,  the Hang Kenh Carpet Factory and the vibrant Sat Market. A drive through tree lined boulevards punctuated with many striking French colonial architecture, will deliver us to some of these landmarks. We continue our journey Halong Bay and spend the remainder of the day for a well - earned rest on Bai Chay Beach. O/N in Ha Long. (B)

 

DAY 11: HALONG - HANOI

The legendary Ha Long Bay is truly one of Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights. Today we embark on a sailing boat for a seven hour cruise around this wondrous bay, dotted with some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes. O/N in Ha Noi. (B)

 

DAY 12: HANOI - DEPARTURE
 

There is a free time for you to relax or further explore Ha Noi. The trip ends after your transfer to Noi Bai Airport for departure. (B).

DAY 10: CAO BANG - LANG SON

Overland drive for 230 km to HaLong Bay. Lunch en route. Over night in HaLong City.[B]

 

DAY 12: HA LONG BAY - HANOI

AM: Boat cruise on famous HaLong Bay with seafood lunch aboard on boat. PM: Drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends in Hanoi around 4 PM [B,L].

An early morning start to drive towards Sa Pa. The roads are bumpy at times, but various scenic landscape changing from the delta area to the Tonkinese Alps make for an interesting journey. The remoteness and the simple lifestyle of ethnic minority people are a highlight of Sa Pa although conditions are basic. After checking into hotel in Sapa we can soak up the fresh climate as much as we want by spending time to wander around. The ethnic people are frequently seen in this hill town and small vendors along the street sell local textiles and handicraft. O/N in Ha Noi. (B)

They still retain their old age cultural traditions and are recognisably distinct from each other by their dress. The experience of this congregation is colorful and unique. After the market we enjoy a walk around the area, visiting the Hmong King's former residence and Ban Pho where the villagers make the potent local maize alcohol. In the mid afternoon you are transferred to Lao Cai train station for return trip to Hanoi. O/N on board. (B)

 

DAY  6: HANOI - HALONG

The train journey will deliver us to Hanoi train station by early morning. Here we meet up with our car for a drive through the scenic countryside to Halong bay. On arrival, we embark on Huong Hai Junk at 12h15 for an exploration of the bay which is truly one of Vietnam's most scenic impressive sights. At 13h00 we enjoy a huge lunch served on board and cruise out passing by the picturesque scenery. The limestone karst formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. A perfect way to round off the day is a taste of local wine and an observation of the sunset. We have dinner at 19h30 before enjoying some night activities. O/N in Halong Bay. (B,L)

 

DAY 7: HALONG - NINH BINH

The following destination of our trip will be Ninh Binh. Upon leaving the town we set off on our drive through the scenic countryside. A part of the pleasure of travelling in this region is the simple joy of seeing the rice fields and the smiling faces of the people. We make stop en route for a visit to Keo Pagoda, one of the most exceptional religious architecture in Vietnam. We then continue to Ninh Binh and have time to visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu with two remaining temples of the Dinh and Le dynasties. They were founded in the late 10th century. Despite the turbulent history , these temples still preserve their original structure. O/N in Ninh Binh. (B)

 

DAY  8: NINH BINH - TAM COC - VINH 

Heading out of town we set off on a short drive to Tam Coc which is surnamed '' Inland Halong Bay''. Here we have the chance to take a rowing boat trip on a river through the quiet and peaceful landscape of rice fields surrounded by limestone formations to the grottoes of Tam Coc. The next stop of our trip will be Bich Dong which is famous for the three Buddhist shrines hidden beneath towering cliffs. After seeing this landmark we travel along the highway No1 past the many peaceful villages to Vinh, our today's final destination. O/N in Vinh. (B)

 

DAY  9 : VINH - DONG LOC - PHONG NHA - DONG HA

The overland journey continues with the next stop being Dong Loc crossroads which is now becomes a historical war site. Here we begin driving along the Ho Chi Minh Trails to the world heritage site of Phong Nha. This complex composes of 14 grottoes littered in the limestone mountains in Ke Bang. The main tunnel with a total length of 7,729 m boasts the longest underground river in Vietnam, and is decorated with multiform stalactites and stalagmites . We enjoy a boat trip exploring this wondrous site before continuing to Dong Ha Town, our base for seeing the Khe Sanh war site. O/N in Dong Ha. (B)

 

DAY  10: DONG HA - DMZ - HUE

An impressive way to start our day is a drive along the road No 9 past the peaceful area, which was once home to a series of fire support bases during the American war. We arrive at the former American marine base of Khe Sanh and have time to stroll around to visit some of the many battle sites and military camps. There were all but partly cleared by villagers. We make our way towards Tacon Airport as well as Lang Vei Special Forces Camp, in south of Lang Vei Village. Upon leaving these sites, we make our way via A Luoi to Hue, Vietnam's feudal capital from 1802 to 1945. O/N in Hue. (B)

 

DAY 11: HUE

The beautiful riverside pagoda of Thien Mu which now becomes the symbol of Hue, is not to be missed. We include this in a guided cruise on the Perfume River which also gives us a taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Upon leaving this landmark we continue seeing the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. We then return to the town and have time exploring the massive citadel, containing the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City. This royal residence was all but destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive, however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins. O/N in Hue. (B)

 

DAY  12: HUE - HOIAN

Heading out of the town, we drive south to Hoi An which was originally a Cham seaport but has been influenced down the centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures. Along the way we can break the journey in Lang Co Beach for a leisurely swim and an enjoyable visit to a nearby fishing village. The winding road begins as we make our way up the spectacular Hai Van pass. A view from the top of the pass is one of Vietnam's most impressive panoramic scenes. The next stop of our trip is Da Nang which is famous for the Cham Museum. After seeing this sight we continue to the China Beach and the Marble Mountain, whose peaks represent the five elements of the universe. On arrival in Hoian we have time to visit the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tam Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market. O/N at Hoian hotel. (B)

 

DAY  13: HOIAN - KOM TUM

An An early morning start to drive along the road 14 B to Thanh My. On arrival we turn left to the road 14 which is the main link of Ho Chi Minh Trails and drive upwards to Kom Tum in Vietnam central highlands. The journey is long but the spectacular landscape will make for an interesting day. A part of the pleasure of travelling in this region is the simple joy of seeing the rice fields and the smiling faces of the people. We arrival in Kom Tum mid afternoon and have time to visit town with the Komtum Seminary, the traditional culture center, the Wooden Church and the Banar ethnic village. O/N in Kom Tum. (B)

 

DAY  14: KOM TUM - LAK LAKE

The interesting journey continues along the central highlands and pass Vietnam's biggest growing coffee area to Pleiku and Komtum. The deep contrast of lush vegetation and red surface of basaltic soil is incredible all along the way. On arrival in Buon Ma Thuat we turn left to Lak Lake , home to the Mnong hill trible people. We enjoy a short dugout ride on Lak Lake which is surrounded by the verdant and rugged mountains. Afterwards we transfer to June village where we are guest of a M'nong family in a traditional long house. The facilities here are very basic, but the experience is definitive unique. This also offers us a chance to explore the simple lifestyle of the M'nong hill tribe people. O/N in Lak Lake. (B, D)

 

DAY  15: LAK LAKE - DRAYSAP WATER FALLS - HO CHI MINH

Today we spend a full day drive along the Ho Chi Minh trails which now becomes a highway liking the central highlands and Ho Chi Minh City, the metropolis of Vietnam. Along the way we make stop to visit a famous water fall, locally named D'raysap by the E de Hill tribe people. This fall is amid the primitive forest ; however you need some physical preparations to ascend the strenuous path. Upon leaving this site we continue traveling south. The journey is long and but we can make stop as you please to stretch your legs and take some wonderful pictures. O/N in Ho Chi Minh. (B)

 

DAY 16: HO CHI MINH - CU CHI

The sightseeing tour acquaints us with some major sights of the city. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the Cho Lon, Saigon's Chinatown, which is crammed with fascinating temples and mysterious, narrow lanes. We then drive this afternoon, to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network of approximately 200 kilometres constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. DAY  17: MEKONG DELTA

Upon leaving the town, we set off on a two  hour drive to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up and catch a view dotted by many islands. The exciting excursion will pass the lush green vegetation before arriving at the famous Unicorn Island. Here we have opportunities to stroll around an orchard, taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy wonderful traditional music. The next stop of our trip is Ben Tre Province to visit some fascinating local industries. After feasting on a huge lunch we return to Ho Chi Minh, stopping off along the way to see the beautiful Ving Trang Pagoda and the Cho Lon, Saigon's Chinatown, which is crammed with sacred temples and mysterious, narrow lanes. DAY  18: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE

There is a free time to relax or further explore Ho Chi Minh City. The tour ends after your transfer to Tan San Nhat Airport for departure. (B).

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
 

Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Meet and transfer to hotel. Take a glimpse of Ha Noi on a short city tour to see the cultural richness of the capital of Vietnam. Tour includes Ngoc Son Temple or pagoda of the jade mountain standing at the northern end of Sword Lake which provides relaxing atmosphere. Then proceed to the Old Quarter consisting of 36 commercial streets, each lined with ancient architectural works harmonized with lakes lying between. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

 

 DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR 

Continue the sightseeing tour in Ha Noi by the first visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the body of Ho Chi Minh is well kept. Then visit his house built on stilts situated nearby. Followed by the visit to One Pillar Pagoda, built by the Emperor Ly Thai Tong in 1049; it was built of wood on a single stone pillar, designed to resemble a lotus blossom which is a symbol of purity. Afterward, go for the Temple of Literature with its ancient Vietnam architecture, dedicated to Confucian cult which broke the Buddhist monopoly in education. The temple was then regarded as the site of the first university of Vietnam Continue the route to the Art museum which gathers a collection of prestige artifacts of Vietnam. DAY 3: HANOI - SA PA
 

In early morning, depart for Sapa by a ten-hour-road trip. On the way, enjoy the majestic greatness of Western North Mountains. Check-in at hotel upon arrival in Sapa and have dinner as well as overnight.

DAY 4: SA PA TREKKING TOUR
 

Start a day in Sapa with a trek for five kilometers. On the trail, you will visit Catcat Mountain to experience the traditional life of Black H'Mong people living around the region and then see the electric-hydro waterfall built by French in 1925. Along the way, enjoy panoramic view of the entire area with many terraced paddy fields. Continue to visit Silver waterfall, one of the famous attraction in Sapa and O Quy Ho pass which offer magnificent view. In the afternoon, visit Dragon Jaw Mountain and overview Sapa Town from the height. After dinner, attend “Love Market” of Red Dao minority people, one of the characteristic cultures of minority people in Northwestern highlands of Vietnam (every Saturday evening). Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 5: SA PA - LAI CHAU
 

Transfer to Lai Chau inhabited by a large number of hill tribe people. On the way to Phong Tho, visit some ethnic villages. Continue to Lai Chau to have dinner an overnight.

DAY 6: LAI CHAU - DIEN BIEN PHU
 

Today, you will be lost in the memory of wartime. Firstly, visit the museum of the battle field, and 

headquarters of Colonel Christian Catries. Old French tanks and artillery pieces can be seen here also. Dinner and overnight in Dien Bien Phu.

DAY 7: DIEN BIEN PHU - SON LA
 

Transfer to Son La and touch the air of historic event at French prison. Then relax and free your mind at Hot Springs and natural caves in the area. Dinner and overnight in Son La.

DAY 8: SON LA - HANOI
 

Return to Ha Noi while visiting small ethnic hamlets scattering along the way from Yen, Chau, Moc Chao to Hoa Binh (Muong Tahi people). Arrive in Ha Noi and overnight
